On the evening of May 29, 2025 Neijiang 13th Big Thousand Loong Boat Economic, Trade and Cultural Exposition opened at the bank of Sichuan Neijiang Sweet City Lake.
At 8 o'clock that evening, as the dusk gradually deepened, the banks of Tiancheng Lake were instantly "ignited" under the interweaving of colorful lights, creating a stunning visual feast of water, land, and air that integrated art, technology, and cultural charm. Using the scenery of Tiancheng Lake as a backdrop, multiple sets of LED screens showcase the beauty of the mountains and waters in a three-dimensional manner. The integration of cross-strait lighting and laser creates a stunning audio-visual atmosphere.
In the magnificent scene, the opening ceremony performance became the biggest highlight. Over the course of two hours, a spectacular cultural performance with the theme of "Great Thousand Flowing Rhymes, Zongzi Affection in the Inner River" was performed, featuring over a thousand professional actors, university teachers and students, and extras on stage. The 14 programs integrate diverse arts such as singing and dancing, recitation, acrobatics, and Sichuan opera, showcasing both the cultural charm of Neijiang and its profound cultural heritage, setting off waves of excitement on site.
More than 2000 drone formations, along with the Cold Flame Waterfall and high-altitude fireworks, painted a colorful scroll on site. The Water Spider Man, carrying the Fire Pot Iron Flower, broke through the water and soared into the air, which was amazing.
It is worth mentioning that a giant golden dragon about 140 meters long is swimming in Tiancheng Lake, and its novel and unique presentation form has become the focus. Ms. Zhang, a citizen, excitedly held her child and said, "My child has never seen such a big golden dragon before. He keeps clapping his hands and shouting 'so cool'. As a mass festival event, this event specially invited 33 role models from various industries, including "Chinese Good Person", National Moral Model Nomination Award winners, and Sichuan Provincial Moral Model, to make ordinary heroes the protagonists of the grand event.
